1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Fentonem Restaurant-Hotel Norway's website, services, and facilities, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.

If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing our services.

2. Booking and Reservation Policy

All reservations at Fentonem Restaurant-Hotel Norway are subject to availability and confirmation. We require the following:

  • Reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card
  • Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance for hotel stays and 24 hours for restaurant reservations to avoid fees
  • No-shows for guaranteed reservations will be charged for the first night's stay or the full cost of the reserved dining experience
  • Check-in time is 3:00 PM; check-out time is 11:00 AM
  • Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and additional fees

3. Payment Terms

We accept the following payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Norwegian Kroner (NOK) in cash.

All prices are quoted in Norwegian Kroner (NOK). Prices on our website are for reference only and may be subject to change. The actual price will be confirmed at the time of booking.

A 10% VAT is included in all prices. Additional tourist tax may apply as per Norwegian regulations.

4. Restaurant Policies

Our restaurant operates with the following policies:

  • Reservations are recommended, especially during peak seasons
  • We accommodate dietary restrictions with advance notice
  • Dress code is smart casual
  • Outside food and beverages are not permitted
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone

5. Hotel Policies

Our hotel operates with the following policies:

  • Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas
  • Pets are allowed in designated rooms only with prior approval and additional fee
  • Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Damage to hotel property will be charged to the guest
  • Lost key cards incur a replacement fee of 200 NOK

6. Excursions and Activities

Fentonem organizes various excursions and activities. Please note:

  • All participants must sign liability waivers for adventure activities
  • Weather conditions may cause cancellations or rescheduling
  • Appropriate clothing and footwear are required for outdoor activities
  • Participants must follow guide instructions for safety

7. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation terms vary by booking type:

  • Hotel stays: Free cancellation up to 72 hours before check-in
  • Restaurant: Free cancellation up to 24 hours before reservation
  • Excursions: Free cancellation up to 48 hours before activity
  • Special events and packages: See specific event terms

Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed within 14 business days.

8. Liability

Fentonem Restaurant-Hotel Norway shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense incurred by guests during their stay, except where such liability is imposed by Norwegian law.

Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. Safety deposit boxes are available at the reception.

9. Force Majeure

Fentonem shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, government actions, or pandemics.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Norway.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
